Sitting out on the balcony in the quiet darkness, the soft rain coming down to soak the soil and I'm wishing for one of those old style rambling country houses with a screened in porch to drag a comfy mattress out onto and sleep for the evening. If the chair was but a bit more comfortable I could almost fall asleep out there as is on a night like tonight. but I'd be damp and no doubt mossy bite ridden come morning. not to mention stiff and sore...

But it's a lovely night for it nonetheless.

Being sprayed by rain through the open window, and wandering out into a wet morning were both delights, especially after a heat-stressed weekend.

Oh lvoely. Yeah, I was sitting on the balcony getting sprinkled with msity rain. Stood out there last night too, hoping for rain.
